The Chairman, House Committee on Defence, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has, again, declared that he remained focused on discharging his responsibilities as entrusted upon him and other lawmakers, to the best of his ability.
Rep. Benson, who is representing the Ikorodu Federal Constituency for the third term, also stated that he is committed to strengthening good governance in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The ranking lawmaker reiterated his positions on Wednesday on his social media handles tagged, “Moments in Plenary”, while examining his engagements with other lawmakers in the last couple of days in the course of their legislative business and preparing for his party’s primary elections.
“The past few days in the Chamber have been a time of purposeful engagement – working closely with colleagues, exchanging ideas, and advancing critical legislative business in the interest of our nation.

“As we approach the next phase of our party’s internal processes, I remain focused on the responsibility entrusted to us by the people, and committed to strengthening governance in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Across key sectors, we are beginning to see the steady building blocks of reform – driven by policy, sustained by collaboration, and guided by a shared vision for a more stable and prosperous Nigeria.
“These moments remind us that progress is built through CONSISTENCY, PARTNERSHIP, and SERVICE.
“The work continues”, Rep. Benson said.
